Experience
Teacher of History and Politics for 4 years in West London and the British School of Brussels. Have taught the British A-Level system and International Baccalaureate (IB). Have taught both History and Politics, including Global Politics, UK Politics and US Politics. Also experienced with the GCSE and IGCSE programmes. As a native English speaker with extensive experience of marking, I can provide help and feedback to students on bachelor's programmes. Specialisms in terms of history include UK history, particularly imperial history, classical history, US 20th Century, European 20th Century, Arab-Israeli conflict and many other minor interests. Have completed a 3 month course on teaching students for whom English is not their first language.

Hobbies
My main hobbies are reading (for pleasure) and art (in particular pencil drawings and sketches). Strangely, for a history teacher, I read quite a lot of sci-fi (besides books about history and politics). I like big cities with galleries and museums, and I like to wander around them for hours. I like to keep fit and healthy. I'm also a keen music lover (though I have absolutely no talent for music myself).
