Experience
I have recently completed my Bachelors degree at the University of Sussex in English and American Studies, specializing in literature, history and politics. I am keen to apply these disciplines to the teaching field and i am familiar with both both American and British approaches to pedagogy and teaching expectations. I am offering my services as an English and history tutor to students aged between 10-18. I am experienced offering teaching support to younger children and have work in three schools, working effectively with students who struggle with language mechanics and the issues associated with dyslexia. I enjoy the process of working through these issues with students over time and I am eager to develop these experiences. I believe students have the capacity to excel when armed with the tools and attitude to understand work methodologies. I ensure mechanical or stimulating work is approached from a fresh and fun perspective and I have experience interacting with children of a range of abilities and interests.
